Jack Hen you have it 100% corect ! what bothers me is all these pit bull nuts that promote them as being good safe gentle nanny dogs see the same stories about the kids killed each day somewhere by pit bulls and then they hear the owners say they cant belive their dog that was rasid in a loving home with kids and slept with theri kids could have killed one ! but the pit bull nuts all say oh its how tehy are rasied that is untill they their selfs or their kids are attacked or killed

How many propaganda clichés can we fit on one photo? This page is filled with them!
Dogs are individuals, and we shouldn't condemn them based on their face shape, history or reputation among people who are afraid of them.
Don't you agree?

  • Laurel Davis I'm educated and I don't want that ugly thing in the picture anywhere near the people I care about.

  • Kell Brigan 100% projection. This is mental illness.
  • Helga Joubert What a soulless, dead stare. Creepy thing.
  • Jane Shryock This picture would be portraying the same image if it were a picture of a shi tzu and stated: "every dog deserves a chance to pull a sled!"
Educated folks know dogs were selectively bred, very thoroughly. That is why breeds look so diverse in shape, size, etc. I thought this was the kind of thing we learned in elementary school science classes?
  • Faith Taylor My question is what the "general face shape" thing is all about. That's one I actually haven't heard before....
  • Paul Hawkins LOL - I'll take it. I need a nanny dog for my three toddlers
  • Helga Joubert Faith, it's a variation of the racism whine. If you discriminate against a dog because of its head shape that's the same as discriminating against a person because of their skin color, lol.
  • Faith Taylor I just thought it was such an odd part of the body to point out! Weird variation, but a variation.
  • Helga Joubert Weird is their specialty.
  • Allen James Dogs are individuals? When did that happen?? WTF does that even mean??
  • Elizabeth Bennet Form follows function. The fighting dog has small eyes and ears that are not easily damaged in a fight, a broad jaw and short muzzle for more gripping and biting power, a muscular body and a short coat so it won't overheat during a fight. This dog has all those physical characteristics and is likely to have the behavioral characteristics that go with them: a high prey drive, a grip-and-tear biting style, and an unwillingness to stop attacking once it starts.
  • Elizabeth Bennet Just as man produced the greyhound, the perfect running machine, by selecting only the fastest dogs, dog fighters created the pit bull, the perfect fighting machine, by selecting the best fighters.
