Kell Brigan This is a violation and a crime, regardless of the degree of bite inflicted. We're living in a culture where people who can't walk through a grocery store for fifteen minutes without their "emotional support dog" are granted sympathy, yet people are are attacked by an out-of-control, vicious, snarling, primitive animal in what we are told is supposed to be safe, public space are ridiculed and blaimed, and our suffering and trauma are never acknowledged. This is absolute insanity.

I was attacked yesterday by the neighbors Weenier dog Yes I know you say an ankle bitter ?? that was not my only fear ~ I was so scared and my heart was racing felt like i was going to have a heart attack Why you ask? During this the other 2 Pit Bulls in the back yard were Barking at me as they watched this dog biting at my ankles ! My fear was and is that now these dogs all wanted to attack me too!! I am so sure if they were able to get out they too would of attacked me Now I am worried as today when I came home the Pit Bulls were barking at me I Pray they never get out even more than before!!

  • Dennis Ballance Sr Teri I understand your fear I have one that some days just watches me all day when I am in the yard. Other days just barks at me all day after the 3rd close call with him I know there will be a 4th just don't know when and it keeps you on edge all the time. I just pray fear don't effect my aim if I see it comming at me no problem so far all three times I had no clue it was there untill he was right at me. Find you something to protect yourself with don't want to see you in the news.

  • Stacy Renee Snow Carry pepper spray, a stun gun and a knife or kobutan. You cant prevent an attack but you can react to one. You can also report excessive noise to the police. I wouldnt, unless it was at a time at night/morning that it disturbed me or was off and on daily. It's just an option.

  • Samantha Lynn 1st I'm sorry you got bit hope you're okay, I just wanna know how are pitbulls most deadly? I don't agree with that. Yes they have attacked humans and other dogs. But what about the other breeds German shepherds, Dalmatians, Dobermans greyhounds , even chihuahuas, poodles ,pugs ... I've seen an article about a Pomeranian killing a 1month old little baby. I've also seen other dog breed articles doing the same. It's not JUST pit bull. Yall act like they are the devil. I have 2 pitbulls and a great dane. They love people. Now I do see where yall are comming from but all I've seen on this page is about pitbulls or pit bull mix. I don't understand I thought this was for all breeds. But you calling my babies monsters when you obviously don't own a pitbull. I'm sure some will say "just wait till they turn on you" yeah that's not gonna happen. I'm not irresponsible I can read my dogs reactions / body languages... not trying to start a fight, anyways dogs bark... it's literally what they do. Just cuz you see pitbulls barking doesn't mean they where trying to attack you...

  • Dennis Ballance Sr Samantha Lynn read a few reviews of er doctors as to the damage pits cause compared to other breeds. Then do the same with vets that compare damage done by pits compared to other dogs you will see why pits are most deadly

  • Dawn Dalyce why would you go into your neighbors yard with those types of dogs loose? If they were in your yard, from now on, carry a pistol !!!

Did an elementary school presentation this week on the dangers of Pit Bull breeds, how to identify them, and why they should stay far away, and it actually went over very well with the teachers and parents. I had a lot of parents tell me they were glad to have someone had the "balls" so to speak, to spread the truth on these dangerous animals. The children were very receptive and one parent said she was thinking of adopting a Pit from their local shelter but now has decided not to do so, and one parent who said her ex just got a Pit Bull for her daughter and that she was just waiting for facts and stats to back up her fear of having the dog around her child, and was now able to demand the dog be removed from her ex's home or she will no longer allow visitation, she would petition the court. Oh so proud.
