Valerie Webber My first experience with a Pit Bull attack was in 2003 when a Pit Bull attacked my little puppy, obviously unprovoked, with many more to follow. It was a sustained attack. I used to believe in management and control measures. I still believe that is all that is needed for normal people to own a Pit Bull. Problem is too many people that own the breed are not normal, they truly are not mentally stable. I see no other way to ensure safety but a complete banning.

While Mayor Lyle Anderson may not be a fan of pit bulls, he has said that he doesn't plan on proposing any breed-specific ordinances.

  • Valerie Webber This mayor needs to have some input on the dangers of Pit Bulls.

  • Valerie Webber Problem with that is all too many beloved pets will still die. Most Pit Bull owners don't care about their Pit Bulls, they care about the carnage.

  • Valerie Webber What we need to do is to get real Pit Bull lovers to step up to the plate to stop these nutters. They have the most to lose.
